I help thoughtful, high-performing people find clarity when the obvious answers stop working.
Hi, I’m Heidi.
I’ve spent more than a decade leading animal welfare and conservation work in complex, high-pressure environments, including heading the Vietnam operations of a large international NGO. I know what it’s like to carry responsibility, navigate politics, and make decisions where the stakes actually matter.
Over time, I noticed something. The people doing the most thoughtful, values-driven work were rarely struggling because they lacked intelligence, competence, or commitment. They were struggling because they were expected to keep going without space to pause, question, or recalibrate.
That’s where my work begins.
The Second Question is about what comes after the first, socially acceptable answer. It’s the question you ask when you’ve done what you were supposed to do and something still doesn’t feel right.
The first question might be:
“What should I do?”
The second question is often quieter and more difficult:
“What actually matters here?”
That is where clarity, agency, and alignment live.
My coaching is reflective, practical, and values-led. I don’t offer formulas or motivational noise. I create space for you to think honestly, see patterns clearly, and make decisions you can stand behind.
I work primarily with women in animal welfare, conservation, and adjacent fields who are capable, self-aware, and quietly exhausted from holding too much alone.
If you’re ready to stop performing certainty and start listening to what you already know, we’ll work well together.
